Terms of service
Last updated September 4, 2026
Play fair, do not break the game or resell it, and it stays free to play. Purchases are digital licences, not property, and are refunded through the platform you bought them from.
These terms govern your use of Under Heavens and this website, both published by Dorian Wolff (“the studio”, “we”), based in France. By installing or playing the game you accept them.
1. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Under Heavens on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment.
You may not: resell, rent or sub-licence the game; reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; modify it or run modified clients; automate play; extract or redistribute its art, text or card data other than as permitted by the press kit; or use it to break the law.
2. Accounts
An account is optional — the game plays signed out. Signing in goes through Apple or Google and binds your progress to that account. You are responsible for the account you use and for what happens under it. Tell us at support.dorian@gmail.com if you believe it is being used without your permission.
We may suspend or close an account that cheats, manipulates contest results, abuses other players, or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where the law allows it, we will tell you why and how to contest it.
You may delete your account at any time — see deleting your account.
3. Purchases and virtual items
- Purchases are made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, under their terms. The studio never handles your payment details.
- What you buy is a licence to use a virtual item inside the game. Virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be traded or transferred between accounts.
- Randomised parcels. Some purchases grant randomly selected cards. The chance of each rarity is published in the game before you buy, and mirrored on the pack odds page.
- Right of withdrawal. In the EU, digital content delivered immediately is exempt from the 14-day withdrawal right once delivery has started and you have acknowledged it — which is what the store’s purchase confirmation does. Refunds beyond that are at the discretion of Apple or Google under their own policies.
4. The service may change
Under Heavens is a live game. Seasonal events open and close, card balance is tuned, and features are added or retired. We may change or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue the online services entirely, we will announce it in the game with reasonable notice, and where practical leave the single-player game working offline.
5. Content you submit
Display names, contest submissions and anything else you send us must not be unlawful, hateful, deceptive or infringing. You keep whatever rights you have in what you submit, and grant us the licence needed to operate the game with it — for example, showing your display name and replay on a leaderboard.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, the game is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost progress caused by a device failure outside our control, or unavailability of the online services. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity under French and EU consumer law.
7. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes may be brought before the competent French courts or the courts of your place of residence.
If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
8. Changes to these terms
We will announce material changes in the game before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
